Add subdomains
A subdomain is a name under one of your websites — blog.example.com,
shop.example.com, api.example.com — with its own folder to serve from.
Create a subdomain
- Go to Subdomains → Add subdomain.
- Pick the parent website and type the subdomain label (e.g.
blog). - Save. OrbixPanel creates:
- a document root folder for the subdomain,
- a web-server vhost, and
- the matching DNS record (when the domain is hosted here).
Put content on it
Upload files to the subdomain’s document root using the File Manager, or deploy an app and attach the subdomain to it.
HTTPS
Request SSL for the subdomain the same way as a website, so it’s served over HTTPS.
If you only need a DNS entry (not a folder to serve), add a record directly in DNS instead.
