Onboard a hosting customer
Each customer on your platform is a tenant — an isolated account with its own portal, limited by the package they’re on. You can onboard them automatically via the storefront, or manually from the panel.
Two ways customers get created
- Self-service — they buy a plan on your storefront; on successful payment their account is created.
- Manually — you create the customer in the panel (useful for custom deals, migrations, or phone sales).
Create a customer manually
- In the panel (Reseller mode), open Customers.
- Create a customer and assign them a package.
- Set their login details (they can change the password on first login).
- Create their primary website as part of setup, so they land on something real rather than an empty portal.

What the customer gets
An isolated tenant portal to manage their own: websites, databases, email, DNS, files, cron, and more — all bounded by their package limits, and isolated from other customers on the server.
A smooth first experience
- Pre-create their primary website (and a starter page) so there’s something live.
- Point them at the tenant tutorials for self-service.
- Make sure their plan’s limits match what they bought.
Later: upgrades, suspend, cancel
- Move them to a bigger plan as they grow.
- Suspend or cancel when needed.
