Choose PHP version & extensions

The PHP section controls how PHP runs for your sites — useful for WordPress, Laravel, and other PHP apps.

Select a PHP version

  1. Go to PHP.
  2. Pick the version (e.g. 8.1 / 8.2 / 8.3 / 8.4) for your site. Newer is usually faster and more secure — check your app supports it first.
  3. Save; the change applies to how your site’s PHP requests are served.

Enable extensions

Toggle the extensions your app needs (e.g. mbstring, gd, intl, curl, zip, imagick). If an app reports a missing-extension error, enable it here and reload the page.

Tune settings

Where your plan allows, adjust common PHP limits:

  • memory_limit — raise for heavy apps
  • upload_max_filesize / post_max_size — raise to allow larger uploads
  • max_execution_time — raise for long imports

Save to apply.

If an upload is rejected as too large even after raising these, your provider may also cap upload size at the web-server level — contact support.
